South Korea: For- Profit Activities Not Allowed On Business Visa Of Visa Waiver

Latest on business visa for ‘for- profit’ activities for South Korea

With immediate affect the permissible activities for South Korea under the visa waiver status, and C-3-4 short-term business visa have been narrowed by categorizing “for-profit activities” as permitted under the C-4 short-term employment visa.

The changes will affect short-term business travelers conducting installation, repair, maintenance, quality control and similar work in the shipbuilding, oil and gas, energy, engineering and construction, machinery, manufacturing and other sectors.
