Singapore: Salary increase for S-Pass

The Ministry of Manpower announced that the minimum salary for S-Pass holders will be increased from $2’000 to £2’300 per month. This change will take effect from 1st Jan 2019.

For those holding a current S-Pass that expires between Jan 1st 2019 and 30th June 2019, they can renew their S-Pass for a year based on the pre-2019 salary requirement. For those holding an S-Pass that expires after July 1st 2019 they will be held to the new salary requirement.
