Oman: Three month stay on multiple entry visas

Latest update on Oman visa regulation

As of 20th July, people visiting Oman from 38 countries will be eligible to stay for three months which is an increase from the previous rule of three weeks.

This rule has been reviewed in aid to help boost the economy, in hope to give investors more time to get to know the country better and for tourists to spend more money, reported Times of Oman.

The 38 countries include UK and Ireland, the majority of central Europe and parts of Eastern Europe. Citizens of India, Bangladesh and the Philippines are eligible to apply for the extended visa but will require a sponsor in Oman. The visa cost is $129.90 (OR50).
