Morocco: Update on intra-company work permit process

The Ministry of Labour in Morocco has restricted the qualifying criteria for the intra-company work permit process. The intra-company transfer route will exempt employers from obtaining approval from the “Agence Nationale de Promorion de l’Emploi et des Competences” (ANAPEC) who will officially certify that no Moroccan applicants suit the job position.

Employers in Morocco who intend to transfer a foreign national employee from a sister company should note that this kind of transfer no longer qualifies for a labour market test exemption.
