Malaysia: Updates to immigration applications

As of 12th November 2018, the Malaysian immigration authorities will strictly enforce that only personnel named in a company’s “Letter of Undertaking” will be allowed to be involved in immigration applications.

The Letter of Undertaking is a document used in support of immigration applications that states:

  • Who will be the signatory of the applications
  • Who will be the login user to the MYXpats system
  • Who will receive the MYXpats notifications
