Ireland: Online re-entry visa will cease on 3rd September 2018

From 3rd September 2018 the online appointments system in Ireland will only be available to travellers who require re-entry visas in emergency circumstances. Standard applications will need to be submitted through the registered postal system.

This change could impact travel procedures for visa-required nationals. The immigration authorities are currently advising that visa dependent foreign nationals submit applications at least five to six weeks before travel.
