Ireland: Delays in appointments for Irish Residence Permit

There are current delays in booking appointments for the Irish Residence Permit

Non-EEA nationals are experiencing long delays in obtaining and booking online appointments for their Irish Residence Permit registration. At present appointments are being provided to applicants with a minimum nine week waiting time.

The immigration authorities in Ireland have declared that any gaps in immigration permissions (due to the ongoing delays in booking the appointment) will not affect the applicant’s immigration records. The only caveat is that the applicant must have booked the next available Irish Residence Permit appointment slot.
