Germany: Minimum wage increase planned for 2019

Germany is preparing to raise its minimum wage from €8.84 to €9.19 per hour. This will apply to all workers in Germany (including foreign national workers). It is worth noting that EU Blue Card holders are subject to higher legal minimum salaries. The rise of minimum wage is due to be introduced from 1st January 2019.
