Germany: Academic qualifications for EU Blue Card applications

German Immigration authorities require an official evaluation of academic qualifications such as university diplomas that are submitted in support of EU Blue Card Applications. There is no set date as to when this will come into effect. Under the new proposed scrutiny, applicants must request a statement of Comparability from the Central Office for Foreign Education at the following site: https://www.kmk.org/de/zab/central-office-for-foreign-education.html. This can take approximately three weeks to process.
