Chile: Temporary Residence Visa will be withdrawn

Latest updates regarding the temporary residence visa in Chile

The Ministry of the Interior in Chile has announced that the post arrival Temporary Residence Visa (for work purposes) will be discontinued effective April 23rd 2018. 2. Temporary international orientation visa: This can be used for work or starting a business, as well as holders of degrees from the top 200 universities in the world. This visa is issued to 12 months and extendable with an option for permanent residence
  3. Temporary national orientation visa: Can be used for work or starting a business, as well as holders of degrees from Chilean universities. This visa is issued for 12 months and is extendable once with an option for permanent residence
