Latest On New Visa Rules For Ukraine
With immediate effect, from the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.118, 1 March 2017.
The key changes are as follows:
State migration service invitations are no longer required for obtaining short- term business and private visas. Under the new law the visas can be issued based on
- a formal written application* from a legal entity- resident of Ukraine
- a notarized application* from an individual (including a foreign citizen residing in Ukraine)
*applications are to meet requirements introduced by the new rules - The procedure for issuing long-term D-visas has been revised – now such visa is issued as multiple-entry for 90 days.

- The new rules introduce a possibility of submitting an electronic application for a single entry visa valid for up to 30 days for travelling under business or tourism purposes.
