Norway: Salary Threshold Increase

Latest on Norway salary threshold increase for new and renewal residence and work permit applications

Applicants applying for new and renewal residence and work permits must earn a minimum salary of NOK 382,900 if they possess a Bachelor’s degree and 410,500 if they are in possession of a master’s degree. The figures stated are before any tax has been applied. These changes are active from 5 July 2016 and will be applicable to all initial residence and work permit applications submitted on or after this date.
