Morocco: Online Submission for Work Permits

Latest on Morocco’s online submission for work permits

From 1 June, companies sponsoring foreign national employees for work permits are required to submit applications and track their progress using the Ministry of Labor and Professional Integration’s (MOL) Taechir online portal. Companies that have not used the online process before should register on the Taechir site to obtain log-in credentials to avoid delay in submitting future applications. This mandatory electronic process does not change the application requirement and paper submission of signed original forms and documents to the Department of Employment is still required.

The Moroccan online application system has been available for over a year now and has significantly improved the processing times with most applications being decidedbeing decided within three weeks.

The MOL has also announced that it will no longer accept submission of manual work permit applications.
