Ireland: New requirement for employment status change

Any changes to a sponsored non EEA/EU national’s employment status will now warrant a new employment application with the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI). If there are changes to:

  • Job title
  • Job description
  • Job role
  • Salary

The sponsoring company will need indicate them to the DBEI irrespective of whether the changes are due to natural career progression, formal promotion or a move into another part of the business.
