Ghana: Filing annual returns for foreign workers

Filing annual returns for foreign workers

Companies in Ghana that employ foreign workers should prepare to file their annual returns and submit these by 13 January 2017. Failing to submit by this date may lead to a fine of 1000 Cedis and the individuals in the company may need to pay an additional 200 Cedis as a penalty.
As the original submission date 15 January falls on a Sunday, the date has been brought forward to a working day.
The prescribed form must include names and addresses of all foreign workers who are employed as of 1 January.
