Belgium: Introduction of singular work and residence permit

The immigration authorities are planning a singular work and residence permit

The Belgium Authorities are preparing legislation to introduce a singular work and residence permit for non EU nationals in October 2018. This singular permit will be issued for applicants residing and working in Belgium for over 90 days.

Foreign nationals who are preparing for, or undergoing work permit applications should anticipate delays in the coming months while the Belgium immigration authorities finalise their roles and responsibilities for the issuance of work permits.
